Allotment in the Park

The Allotment in the Park is shared and is for anyone who would like to have a go at growing vegetables, fruit or flowers.  We would love to install a wildlife pond to make it a great place for pond dipping and finding frogs – so if anyone knows how to build one we have all the bits available (pond liner, solar pump, etc)

12341213_10154469364588146_7871526183056397073_nWe know that in a shared allotment it is inevitable that someone will dig up the wrong thing, plant in an already planted bed, or pick something they shouldn’t.  However, if you think you can cope with this, and  you are prepared to help out where you can, then this is the allotment for you.

You don’t need to have any experience and there will always be something to do – even if it’s just sitting and admiring the flowers for a while.  You can commit as much time as you like and if you decide it’s not for you then that’s OK too.
