Want to get involved in organising an open gardens event in Old Trafford in 2015?

Love Old Trafford is a local residents’ group for people who love where they live and want to make it even better! We are organising an Open Gardens event on Sunday 5th July 2015 to celebrate gardening achievements and to share ideas about growing.

We invite local residents and community groups to open their yards and gardens to visitors for one day. We have received generous funding from St John’s Sunshine to help get this project up and running and we’ll produce a leaflet with map to guide people around the area’s open gardens.

We need input from interested individuals and groups of gardeners to help make this event a success. If you have ideas on what an Old Trafford open gardens event should look like or if you know someone whose garden is a hidden gem and worth including, we’d love to hear from you.

If you’d like to help a little or a lot, please come along to the next Love Old Trafford meeting on Tuesday 9th December at 6:45pm. The venue is St John’s Centre, St John’s Road, Old Trafford, Manchester M16 7GX.

We are particularly interested to hear from anyone with expertise in event planning and digital or print marketing but any input at all will be warmly welcomed and appreciated!

We also look forward to learning about special Old Trafford gardens and gardeners that you know about who may wish to take part.

If you are unable to attend the meeting but interested to get involved please email us: opengardensot@gmail.com
